Personnel Training

Developing effective, successful personnel training programs is more than simply being able to present training content in an organized and engaging fashion. Training is about being able to find a way to present topical information so that it produces a change in the manner in which students subsequently perform some task or activity. Training that does not produce a change in the student's subsequent manner of approaching a task or activity is not training, it is education.

JJENCO has extensive experience in both developing and implementing effective training programs on a variety of topics. A hallmark of all our training programs is captured in our success at conveying not only the 'what' pertaining to the training topic, but more importantly the 'why' that enables each student to integrate the intended instruction into their subsequent approach to task or activity performance.

Our training program formats can take various forms, according the technical topic and optimal mode of instruction. Some programs are best suited to computer-based training (CBT) that enables students to study material individually at their own pace. Other programs are designed for multimedia presentation by an experienced instructor or subject-matter expert as an online webcast or in a classroom setting with a defined audience. Still others require a carefully coordinated combination of lecture, discussion, and hands-on laboratory experimentation in order to successfully convey the intended information in a manner that assures a change in each attendee's skillset.

To date , JJENCO staff have conducted technical training sessions for several thousand attendees around the world, principally in the area of fluid leak management or plant leakage reduction. We have also developed training or conducted seminars for topics as diverse as emergency underwater pipeline repair for the Offshore Energy industry and Mass Hostage Event Response for the law enforcement community.
